Meet the Creative Mind Behind the Designs

After becoming a single mother in 2019, I faced depression for months but my daughter gave me the strength to overcome it and strive for a better future. Finding a job as a designer was difficult due to my lack of experience, but I didn't let that stop me. I taught myself the skills and with hard work and determination, I founded Styled Web from scratch and built it with zero dollars and countless hours of hard work. 

My daughter is my greatest source of inspiration and drive. She is my biggest motivation in building my business so I can provide her a better future even  on my own.

I do not have a design degree. In fact, I have a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a background in banking, I spent 5 years feeling stuck in a career that was not fulfilling. In 2015, I moved to New Zealand with my partner. Moving to a new country has led me to finding my passion. Rejections from corporate jobs has led me to a job in a fashion boutique where I discovered my love for helping women find their unique style and building their confidence through their wardrobe. It was incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact that fashion could have on someone's life and self-esteem.

In 2017, I became a full-time, stay-at-home mom who wanted to pursue my aspirations. And when mid-life crisis hit me in 2019, I decided to leave a toxic marriage and I became a single mom. The idea of working full-time with a 2-year-old was unbearable so I looked for ways to work from home,  and I learned web design. I have always wanted to become a designer but finding the opportunity to be one didn't happen somewhere else. Instead, I created the opportunity for myself.
